How To Make Room Divider Shelves
The room divider shelves are a decorative and functional part of a wall. Shelves in the abyss, living room, office or hallway need beautiful dividers that blend with the decoration of the room. There are several ways in which you can break the lines of the books on your shelves. You will need material or items strong enough to keep the books from tipping over. A foundation can be used to display sports collections, stones, and pieces of quartz, trophies, and dolls, to mention a few collectibles. You can make a solid wood divider that blends with the environment.
Measure the height of the platform that requires a divider. Measure the collection that will double as a divider and a piece of the exhibit. Subtract the difference in height. For example, a shelf can be 15 inches from bottom to top. A presentation box for a baseball is 6 inches tall so you will have 9 inches to work with.
Select a heavy base for a candle holder, flat paperweight, and decorative piece of wood or glass blocks. Make sure it is approximately 4 to 6 inches tall. Paint the piece to match its decoration. Glue a piece of felt to the bottom of the heavy base you have chosen. Open a presentation box and put your collection theme in it. You can use double-sided tape to attach the collection case to the base if desired. Place the showcase to the heavy base and put it on the shelf of a divider.
